Gaia Time #2 -Hand Sew your Period Pad (makes two)

Here is a design to sew your own Period Pad you can't use t-shirt material as t-shirt material too stretchy

May use non 100% cotton material, though be careful when you're ironing as you don't want to scorch fabric, so cotton is best. You need to differentiate between the two pads when you use them (be able to tell them apart), so make them unique.

1.  with scissors Cut Out x4 Ovals (With dimensions as on diagram) can practice on paper

1.  Press with hot Iron 1cm around edges to form a Hem

1.  Use pins (four pins) to attach the two sides together ready to sew

 Thread a needle and sew together the two Ironed Ovals, lining up each side and amending the meeting of the two Hems as you go.
